MISSIONARIES WE SUPPORT

youth alive

Youth Alive missionary to the SoCal Network

Eliot and Tanner are stepping out of the safety and comfort of being local youth to follow the prompting of God to help reach every school campus for Christ.

They are dreaming God-sized dreams for the junior high and high school campuses of SoCal. They see this as a mission field that needs to be reached and their hope is to help raise up students as campus missionaries.

To get in contact with Eliot, find him here on most Sunday mornings or email him at Eliotyouthalive@gmail.com. If you would like to give to the Bland’s through our giving platform, click the link below and designate your gift with the keyword youthalive

A Second Chance For Abandoned Children

Jabulani is unlike any other children’s home in Zimbabwe or even Africa due to the care, love and attention every individual child gets each and every day from our longtime friends, Pastor Alan and Dorothy Graham.

Alan and Dorothy Graham are originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. In the year 2000, they left the comfort of their own homeland with a desire to help orphaned children and abandoned babies in the Harare area. Cornerstone has visited the Graham’s and their children many times and will continue to visit and support them now and the years to come!

wycliffe bible translators

Honorary Cornerstone members, Andrew and Melody Campbell serve with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Wycliffe is a mission organization whose focus is on Bible translation and getting God’s Word to those who don’t have it yet in their heart language. Papua New Guinea is located on the eastern half of the island of New Guinea located just north of Australia. What makes Papua New Guinea unique? There are over 800 languages spoken in PNG and 300 of those languages do not have any of God’s Word in their language.

The Campbell’s support Bible translation through technology and health care. They help keep computers and people healthy so that Bible translation can continue with fewer interruptions. They are both third-generation missionaries and feel privileged to be able to use the skills God has given each of them to serve overseas, speeding the work of Bible translation.

Turning the Hopeless into Givers of Hope

One of our most recent missions trips was with our friends, Catalin and Oltita Baciu in Romania. Catalin works as the Executive Director at Teen Challenge, a recovery program made in a specific way for the student to be helped and to take responsibility, starting with basic life skills and day to day living. The program also helps students with education, emotional stability, social reintegration, spiritual life, and the development of various skills and abilities. This program is a huge step towards breaking the cycle of addiction, violence and life on the streets.

The key to the proven success of this residential program is represented by the spiritual aspect, based on Christian faith. The religious activities are part of the daily program (chapel, Bible reading time, prayer time and participating in weekly church services). Students are taught how to live out their faith and apply it in everyday life. Participation in the spiritual activities and church services are not optional.

MARSEILLE - EPP FRANCE

Cornerstone supports pastor Lukas and Joy Reichor, from Marseille, France. As this church, EPP France, is also recently experiencing lifts in the pandemic restrictions, we can easily empathize with all they have experienced and what they hope for as their reality changes daily.

We lovingly support this ministry as we help them continue to reach people around the world. Pastor Lukas is convinced that the Word of God changes our perspective and impacts our everyday life. He wants to serve people for a better life.

The Reichors just recently gave birth to their third child. We hope to be able to visit them in the future (that’s if they don’t make it to California first!) to see all they are doing at EPP France!
