EVERY SUNDAY IS SOMEBODY'S FIRST SUNDAY
Here at Cornerstone we understand how intimidating your first Sunday can be. We strive to be an inviting community that cultivates a welcoming atmosphere for first (and second and third and fourth) time visitors. Here's a walk through of what to expect on a Sunday morning.
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE?
We have two identical services on Sundays at 9:00am and 10:45am that are approximately 75 minutes. Expect each service to open with our community gathering together to worship. After our opening worship there is time for announcements and giving. This is followed by the main message, which is normally 30 minutes long. Typically after the message there is a longer response time of worship, and communion at least once per month. Throughout the service the prayer station is open at the back of the chapel.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Expect to be greeted by a friendly face and handed a bulletin as you walk through the door. Ask our greeters any questions that you have and they'll help direct you around the church. Our info table in the main lobby has plenty of resources and is also a great place to go if you have any questions. Grab a cup of coffee and chat with people on our patio.
AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE?
Here at Cornerstone we believe that giving is an act of worship. However, newcomers are under no obligation to give, nor will they be questioned about their finances.
WHERE DO KIDS GO DURING SERVICE?
We are a multi-generational church and have separate services geared towards kids during the main services. Infants and kids up to age three can be supervised in the nursery while we have specific services for Elementary aged kids and Junior Highers. Programs are free of charge.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
17575 Euclid St. Fountain Valley, CA 92708 near the corner of Euclid and Slater. We also have our easily identifiable skate park in our south parking lot to help you find us.
